The successful candidate will have responsibility for a high-growth area of the brand; its P&L, balance sheet including revenue recognition of sales and overheads. You'll work with local finance teams across the division, as well as business partnering the sales and operations departments.
Responsibilities:
Monthly management reporting, liaising with regional finance teams and operations departments to understand and action variances to both forecast and plan.
Enhancing reporting to meet business needs.
Reviewing contracts both for technical accounting and also commercial impact.
Preparing journals and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating key differences.
Reconciling stock and WIP accounts, working with Supply Chain to introduce inventory and working capital KPI reporting to ensure efficient cash management.
Support external audit.
Working cross-functionally to understand pressure points and provide clear guidance on finance implications of business decisions along with ad hoc analysis.
Requirements:
Qualified ACA/ACCA
Strong technical accounting knowledge (ideally with previous experience of IFRS16)
Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships cross-functionally
Enthusiasm and passion for company goals and strategy
Flexible and proactive attitude
Can demonstrate good prioritisation
